Hrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm
And suddenly, I’m starting to panic.
Panicking about travel, panicking about an exam, panicking about an assignment, panicking about doing something completely wrong in both, panicking about forgetting something very important, panicking about not getting a job quickly enough…
On the bright side, it does cast my normal, light-weight angst into sharp relief.
What in the name of all that’s holy compelled me to take ‘Electromagnetism (Advanced)’? Why not just ‘Electromagnetism’? What’s so damned exciting about that last word? Clearly it’s time to lead a time travelling strike force back to knock my October 2002 self unconscious.
Speaking of unconscious, the season finale of Alias was something of a disappointment. Not really a thrilling cliffhanger as much as a damp squib. I’m not sure I actually learned anything I didn’t already know.
That’s it, Tom. Focus on the important things.

Panic can be fun, at least it means your life is never dull. And it’ll get better soon anyway, the panic about an exam is just the same as what one always has before an exam but probably seems like more because its being compounded amoungst all these other stresses, the assignment will be handed in soon and even if it was more a standard level assignment than advanced you’ll still pass, cos you always do, and you’re just being a perfectionist if you’re panicking about not getting H1’s. And the trip thing, thats just the anticipation. Thats probably excitement not panic. Everyone gets a bit nervous before they go on a huge trip like that, and thats kind of the point, you’re geographically as well as metaphorically leaving your comfort zone – which is a good thing, and just roll with it. You’ll find a job. Its more your bumps and bruises after attempting the mountain I’d be worried about =)
Alias season finale was a bad? Pah. Granted it kind of bugged me at the time, to say the least, cos it seemed kind of stupid, but it works for the new season. I think it only sucked because channel seven has been saying for 8 weeks ‘8 weeks to go until the biggest liffhanger in television history.. 7 weeks to go until..’. Nothing ruins anything like huge expectations and overwrought anticipation.

There’s a lesson in that for anti-mac people: Your prejudices will cause you to swallow painful items.
Anyhow, your link is doomed to become forever more and more out of date I’m afraid, if you take a look at that last word.

I realised that, but that one hadn’t been archived yet for me to list it by date – it only existed as the ‘current’ one, so unless I wanted to be patient and wait 3 days for it to get a permanent link of its own it had to be a temp thing, and I really didn’t think anyone would mind too much…

I’ve self diagnosed myself as an adrenalin junkie. Things are much more exciting when something is imminently due. The rest of the time is boring and I lose interest in everything.
I’m assume you’re all packed and ready to go Tom
