Errata good day.
There is an error at the NTGF website. It promises the next episode within 56 hours. That should read 560, or possibly 5600. I’m not sure.
I had a day off. I was going to finish Andy C. That’s good. I was about to go insane. That’s bad. So I caught a bus and spent the whole day in a place that wasn’t here. Tha’ts good. I saw Pirates of the Carribean and NO I’M NOT GOING TO REVIEW IT TOM!!! But it was nice. That’s bad. Actually it’s nice.
And thus the pattern was broken.
I also spent a bit of money. Seriously. Only a bit. Anyway if I spent a lot I certainly wouldn’t post it here. Sheesh. You think I want to endure the inevitably head shakes and people saying “Tsk Tsk”? I’m not stupid. I don’t lie about these things – I just neglect to mention it.
So what if I bought a gamecube game? IT WAS ON SALE!!! 50% off the marked price. I mean seriously, how can you say no to that? I’m usually of the opinion that it’s on sale for a reason, usually because it’s crap. This may turn out to be the case.
Now go away and let me find out.

Jeez, now my nagging stretches backwards in time before I do it. Cool.
Slacker ;) I’m glad it was good though. Doesn’t come out here till next holidays.

Don’t want to hear a single thing about it, the trailer might have given too much away already, if I learned that lesson correctly with the whole ‘Reloaded’ experience. And I can’t wait for Pirates. Swashbuckling and off to save a damsel in distress and yummy hot boys to do it. Oooooo….
So Jackson, how about this. I order you not to review Pirates of the Caribbean. Ignore all Toms nagging.
Now, having saved you, I get rights to nag about you spending money.. here it comes… tsk tsk. Trollop.
Good day.

Riiiiight. So we’re not allowed to have any content on Grapefruit that you personally don’t want to read?
It’s a little thing called self control. Pah.
And somehow, I sincerely doubt that Pirates will be a plot based movie. Or that that will be where the fun lies…

Would you say Reloaded was plot based? Would you say that there was anything in the film that you didnt really get from the trailer, besides that one obvious thing which was good for a bit of thought but left the rest of the film up to that point a bit of a bore?
Just learning from some scarring experiences. It only takes a few simple words to spoil a 90 minute film. And I will be super anal about not having Pirates spoiled cos I am anticipating it almost as much as Return of the King.
And and you do realise that you just associated ‘self-control’, with me. I’m Shannon, remember? We don’t associate self control with people like me.

Reloaded was completely plot based, or at the very least ‘revelation-based’. Mind you I’m not in a position to say where the fun was in the film as I rather missed it.
If you’d told me before seeing ‘The Rock’ that Nicholas Cage got out alive and shot a big-ass rocket into a bloke, I don’t think I’d have enjoyed it any less. I anticipate something similar from ‘Pirates’.

Would knowing that Trinity was going to die have spoiled revolutions?

I don’t think so, really. Individual fates of badly acted characters are hard to get upset about.
